Florida's Cryptid Cats & Subliminal Messages on ABC

During the 1st hour, Pangea Institute's Lisa Wojcik returned to discuss some of Florida's cryptid cats. Lisa specialty is the Jaguarundi and has been researching Florida sightings of the animal since 2003. Lisa shared some of the sightings se has came across over the past few years and encourage listeners to send in any pictures they may have of a Jaguarundi. She also discussed the Black Bobcat which has been sighted around parts of Florida. Busch Wildlife Sanctuary does have a Black Bobcat in captivity but will be releasing it back into the wild.

In the 2nd Hour, Olav Phillips joined us to talk about subliminal messages being used on network television, mainly ABC's ad campaign for The Mole. ABC has been flashing The Mole logo after shows like, Lost and Extreme Makeover. Is this right? Is it a form of mind control? ABC has a strong policy against subliminal messages, even turning down a KFC commercial in 2006 stating it contained a subliminal message. Are they throwing that policy out the window? Olav has started a campaign calling for people to contact ABC and express their feeling about using subliminal messages in their ad for The Mole. He is asking for those who do not agree with it to send the a potato so show ABC we are not couch potatoes and we want be feed advertisement that can manipulate the mind.
