Long John Nebel Tribute
We paid tribute to the pioneer of paranormal talk radio, Long John Nebel discussing his life and career that spanned over 20 years. We also be played clips from some of his shows. Clips included:
- April 19, 1958 - Guest was Otis T. CarrOtis T. Carr, the supposed inventor of a flying saucer, who was willing to sell it for only twenty million dollars. This show was an exploration of what Mr. Carr had to offer and how it worked. Carr and his partner, Norman Colton, put up a barrage of scientific-sounding replies to the questions of Long John and his regulars.
- November 16, 1958 - Jackie Gleason phone conversation about flying saucers.
