Strange America
Author Robert Schneck joined the show to talk about the strange and weird tales of America. He is author of the book: The President's Vampire that is a collection of such stories.
Robert started off by telling the story of James Brown, a vampire, that murdered two people on a fishing boat in 1867. The crew members were found, one with his blood drained, and the other in the arms of Brown while he suck his blood. The story of Brown influenced the title for "The President's Vampire".
Robert's second story was about a town in Canada that faked a haunting. In Windsor, Nova Scotia, a judge, who was also the only spiritualist in town, began to experience paranormal phenomenon. An investigator came to witness and research the paranormal activity that was taking place. The investigator came to the conclusion that the town was simply playing a prank on the judge.
Robert went on to share some of his own experiences on ghost hunts. He talked about being scared and some humorous incidents that took place. Robert also shared some of his beliefs in the paranormal along with some stories that influenced them.
On of our chat room guest, Bambi, asked about the Bye Bye Man and Robert's take on the story. Robert explained that this story genuinely scared him and that it did happen.
