Vampires and Werewolves

Paranormal research and author of over 31 books, Rosemary Ellen Guiley, joined us to talk about the legends and lore of Vampires and Werewolves. Rosemary started the show out giving us a brief story of how she got interested in the paranormal.

Werewolves were the topic of discussion first. Rosemary described the different types of werewolves and some of the typical characteristics. She explained some of the beliefs through out history and lore on how one gets the "curse". Rosemary shared many interesting facts and theories about werewolves that are far from the Hollywood movies.

Next up was Vampires. Again Rosemary described the different types of vampires and how one can prevent or protect themselves from an attack. The psychic vampire was highlighted and seemed to be very common. One caller, Bambi from South Carolina, asked about what could be considered a psychic vampire. Of course we couldn't a vampire show without talking about Vlad the Impeller.

To end the show out, Rosemary dispelled some common thoughts about vampires that are not part of the legends and folklore.
