Gathelus and Scota
Glenn Kimball joined us to discuss the forgotten history of Gathelus, a mercenary soldier from Greece who fought beside Moses in the Ethiopian wars and Scota, daughter of Pharaoh.
Glenn told of how Gathelus and Moses fought for Pharaoh and how the Hebrews were in fact hired hands and not slaves. After the Ethiopian war Pharaoh rewarded them both and Gathelus took his daughter, Scota as his wife. Gathelus and his mercenaries traveled to Spain and Ireland where they faced battles in search of Peace.
Glenn told us of how many do not pay attention or take the time to research and learn their own history and depend too much on what is told to them. Much of the history we know today is wrong.
