Ancient History & Gods

Author Patrick Conway will join Jeremiah to discuss his book The Awful Truth. He believes supernatural "gods" ruled the ancient world. Biblical and pagan gods left around the time of the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD, plunging societies into ruins.

Patrick described how atheism and theology has been at odds with each other through out history on who we are, how we got here and what we are doing here. Both lay claims that they are right but Patrick says "We can't all be right." but say there is the possibility "we all my be wrong".

Patrick also spoke of how humans are aliens to our planet and how we were influenced by "supernatural beings" through out history. He uses the Egyptian pyramids as an example explaining they were not tombs for Pharaohs but rather a collection of information embedded in every aspect of them.

He believes that if we come to accept our past and begin ridding atheism from academia, the world would become a more peaceful place with less war and fear.
