The Lost Colony of Roanoke Island

It has yet to be determined what happened in the disappearance of 112 men, women & children that settled on Roanoke Island around 1587. Some light was shed on the mystery of The Lost Colony of Roanoke Island by Fred Willard and Dr. Arwin Smallwood. They shared their theories and evidence that they have collected and researched over the past decade.

The history of Native Americans was also highlighted by Dr. Smallwood throughout the show and what role they played in the Lost Colony.

One story that was discussed that has been lost or left out of the histories books is of 300 African Slaves that disappeared in the same area before the incident of 1587.

There will future show in which the upcoming DNA testing that is going to be conducted to try and link people as ancestors of the Lost Colony will be discussed. We will see what it takes to test and match DNA.
