Hmmmm..... where do I start on this one. I think I will just come right out and say it. This was nothing but a huge disappointment and probably not even worth renting once it comes out on DVD. Harsh you think? Go watch and find out for yourself.
As a huge X-Files fan I was extremely excited about this movie coming out. I'm one who has missed the show and catch as many reruns as possible even if I have seen it before. However, I seriously just thought about getting up numerous times during the movie and going home. I wish I was exaggerating there but I'm not.
Ok, let me back track for a moment and say it wasn't a bad movie, it just wasn't the X-Files. It was like watching a extended episode that lacked all that we love about the X-Files, the underlining theme of the paranormal, such as ufos, aliens, conspiracies and everything the series featured. It was based around stem cell research in which a group from Russia were using stem cell research to keep a buddy alive by replacing his body parts with those of kidnapped women and you really didn't even see much of that.
It seems this will be a huge let down to a lot of X-Files fans out there. That's all I really have to say about this one. 100% Disappointment!!!
