Lisa Wojcik

Lisa Wojcik's Florida Jaguarundi Project has been her most notable endeavor, having been the subject of several newspaper articles. Lisa has been a guest speaker on several radio talk shows and received the Cryptozoology Student of the Year award in 2005 from the American Primate Conservation Alliance.

She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BS in Natural Sciences. As part of her educational background, she also has experience in Geology, Environmental Sciences Anthropology, Archaeology, and Paleontology.

Lisa also has a long history of civic volunteer work. Starting in the mid-1980's campaigning for the native habitat programs, to the design and construction of an elementary school nature center, which got a personal commendation from the State Commissioner of Education, creation of an award-winning public art project for Broward County, to paleo lab restoration work on an Edmontosaurus (dinosaur) remains at the old Graves Museum in Dania Beach, Florida.

In addition to being a biological researcher, Lisa is an accomplished artist and writer, having displayed her oil paintings in a local gallery and written several civil engineering technical publication and a self-illustrated children's book.
