Taking a multidisciplinary method, the Bandier Program, underneath interim director Ulf Oesterle and assistant director Lisa Steele, requires students to do coursework in the S.I. Newhouse Faculty of Public Communications, the Martin Jr. Whitman School of Management, the College of Visible and Performing Arts and the School of Arts and Sciences, all inside Syracuse College.
Additionally, you will have access to and use assets to support your studying all through your course, including; a specialist Librarian; the Studying Useful resource Centre; the Loan Store; Music Technicians and the Music Studio they manage and supervise; a complete Induction programme for brand spanking new college students; and extracurricular occasions, for instance Music Live shows & Colloquia, a weekly sequence that brings illustrious visitor speakers to the College.
The course provides students with an understanding of the profession patterns of music business professionals inside the altering environment of skilled music, and prepares them for finding employment alternatives (job searches, resumes, cowl letters, portfolios, etc.) The course also gives college students the chance to suggest and to complete a a hundred and twenty-hour work placement at an authorised external internship site to realize real-world expertise in their chosen profession.
